Year 12 Farewells
Friday the 23rd of November saw the end of year festivities begin with the Year 12 Acknowledgement Day Assembly and costume parade. The graduates of 2018 did a great job with the “festival” vibe theme, the multimedia presentation and the costume parade. The poor weather could not dampen the spirits of the graduates, and certainly did not stop them from celebrating at the Year 12 Boat Cruise. The Boat Cruise is a chance for the girls to celebrate their achievements together in a fun and informal way. The girls were given novelty awards and enjoyed a night of food, music and good company.
On Tuesday the 27th of November, the formalities of the 2018 Graduation took place at Luxor Reception. The graduates, alongside their families, teachers and distinguished guests formally recognised the year that was. The program consisted of speeches from the principal, the Year 11/12 coordinator and the outgoing school captains.
Graduate Mariam Baitieh closed the graduation with a memorable musical performance.
